The Johnson School House
The Johnson School House, under the direction of Royce D. Johnson and Tamika M. Farrell, is an umbrella of creative programs designed to improve the lives of the youth and young adults who desire something different from today’s norm.
We exist to ‘make the world smaller’ by providing opportunities for enrichment, inspiration, and development to youth ages 9 -19 from rural families of the Morehouse Parish Community.
The Johnson School aims to enhance the Morehouse Parish public school educational requirements by providing resources, knowledge, and experiences that will enable them to become successful and productive citizens.
Our mission is to enrich and inspire the hearts and minds of young adults by exposing them to experiences, destinations, and opportunities that they would not normally or regularly encounter. We will achieve our mission by emphasizing educational and creative programs not typically found in traditional school settings. We will also prepare and propel young people to embrace, participate, and compete in educational events locally, regionally, and nationally.
At this time, all Johnson School House personnel work on a volunteer basis and receive no salaries. We are a 501c3 compliant organization, funded through grants and your donations. Click the VOLUNTEER button to VOLUNTEER or the DONATE button to DONATE!
